Class Formats & Offerings

Candlelight Calm

  • This class starts with gentle stretches and activates the calming part of your nervous system. It ends with guided meditation or yoga nidra for deep relaxation.

✦ Where can I find it? Online

Add a dose of self-care to your week. This class is designed to calm your body and mind so you can feel centered no matter what life sends your way.

Using a combination of gentle yoga and stretching, you’ll come down out of your busy brain and into your body. Breathwork and vagus nerve stimulation will encourage your body and nervous system to relax deeply. In the last part of the practice, you’ll tune into your intuition and inner wisdom with a guided Meditation or Yoga Nidra practice.

No yoga experience is required. This class is great for anyone who needs a little calm in their life.

Gentle Yoga

  • Perfect for beginners or those seeking a softer, slower practice focused on flexibility.

✦ Where can I find it? Online

This introductory-level yoga class is an excellent way to get started with a yoga practice.

We’ll begin class by centering and grounding ourselves into the moment and using breathwork to calm the nervous system. Then we’ll move slowly and deliberately to stretch the body and explore joint mobility.

Once the body is warmed up, we’ll transition into yoga postures that challenge balance and build strength. Finally, we end the practice with postures for flexibility on the mat, culminating with a reclined rest in Savasana.

Gentle Flow

  • Great for beginners and those seeking a slower pace and mindful approach to movement.

✦ Where can I find it? Online or in Person at Flora Room

Gentle Flow is a practice that balances stillness and movement. In this full-body flow, you will have time to explore options and experiment to find the right pose variation for your body.

We’ll ease into class with grounding and breathwork, create some heat in our bodies with a flowing yoga practice for the whole body, and end with an extended calming savasana.

This class offers a full-body workout that approaches more advanced poses, creating mindful opportunities to build strength and stamina.

Yin Yoga

  • This practice focuses on flexibility and mindfulness, with postures held for minutes at a time.

✦ Where can I find it? Online

Yin Yoga is a slow, relaxing form of yoga that focuses on deep stretching and increasing flexibility.

In a Yin Yoga class, poses are held for 3 to 5 minutes, or longer! These long holds help to lengthen not just our muscles but our fascia for flexibility that lasts long after you leave your mat.

Props are encouraged, as they can help you release and relax into each pose in a supported and aligned way. We use pillows, bolsters, blocks, and straps. Eye pillows and blankets add extra coziness.

MyoYin

  • This practice uses special props called therapy balls to reach deep into tight muscles, loosen knots, and improve range of motion.

✦ Where can I find it? Online, flora room, Mudita Wellness

MyoYin is not just a practice, it's a journey of self-discovery.

This unique blend of myofascial release and yin yoga postures is designed to help you find flexibility that will benefit you both on and off the mat. With the guided use of therapy balls and extended yin holds, you'll release tension from tight muscles, increase range of motion, and relieve pain. MyoYin empowers you to understand your body better and learn how to care for your tired muscles.

This class is great for athletes, couch potatoes, and everyone in between.

Fitness Yoga

  • If you're looking to build strength and confidence in your yoga practice, this class is for you!

This weekly dose of movement will help you build strength, improve flexibility, and de-stress. You'll relish each class as a reward for your body and mind.

Hatha + Yin

  • Move mindfully and experience a deep, embodied stretch.

✦ Where can I find it? HUM Yoga + Barre

Hatha + Yin combines both elements of Hatha yoga and Yin yoga.

Part of the practice focuses on holding a set of yoga poses in the Hatha Style. This means that postures are practiced more slowly and held, allowing for a deeper understanding and connection to each pose.

The other part of the practice includes a variety of Yin postures to help you find a deep stretch and melt into your mat. These postures will help you work deeply into your connective tissues and fascia, and breathe into relaxation.

Vinyasa Yoga

  • This brisk, flowing practice will work up a sweat!

✦ Where can I find it? Private Yoga & Private Events

Vinyasa is a series of sequential movements between postures that flow together with breath. You can expect both foundational postures and creative sequencing that will strengthen, open, and restore the body.

This practice keeps you moving and flowing, offering a full-body workout. Build strength, stamina, and work on balance with advanced yoga postures.

Yoga Tune Up®

  • This modality combines functional movement with deep-tissue techniques to support you and your yoga practice.

✦ Where can I find it? Events & Workshops

Yoga Tune Up® is a system of therapeutic movements combined with facilitated self-massage that breaks down how the body moves. Yoga Tune Up helps you lengthen and strengthen, as you would expect from a yoga class, with a focus on integrated, safety-minded postures.

Roll Model® therapy balls are used for self-massage to loosen muscles, break up fascial adhesions, and help you gain awareness of your body and how it moves.

The combination of Yoga Tune Up postures and Roll Model massage techniques will shape your Triangle pose and deepen your Forward Fold!

Meditation

  • Improve your mindfulness with guided meditation.

✦ Where can I find it? Online

The goal of meditation is to quiet the noise of the “monkey mind” so that you can more clearly hear your intuition, highest wisdom, or the Universe, depending on your beliefs. Meditation is essentially a mindfulness exercise and can be done sitting upright or lying down.

You may want to have a meditation cushion, a yoga block, or a supportive chair for seated meditation, or pillows or bolsters to help you find comfort if you prefer to meditate lying down.

Yoga Nidra

  • Slow down, quiet your mind, and experience deep, rejuvenating rest and guided relaxation.

✦ Where can I find it? Online as part of Candlelight calm

Yoga Nidra provides deep relaxation paired with a meditative focus that allows you to skim the edge of consciousness. Afterward, you’ll feel relaxed and refreshed.

Pillows and other props create a comfortable, cozy place for you to rest in complete relaxation. Eye pillows and blankets add extra coziness.
